Bar or Bat Mitzvah
In Judaism, a child reaches the legal age of maturity at 13, and is obligated thenceforth to observe all the commandments. On the child's 13th birthday, "his" bar mitzvah, or "her" bat mitzvah is held.
Family from all over is flown in, and reservations at the finest hotels or at family member's homes are made.
